These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Anamorph mobile application (“Anamorph”, the “app”) and related websites such as theanamorph.com, developed and operated by Marek Kači, Andrusovova 1032/2, 851 01 Bratislava, Slovak Republic, regardless of which app store you downloaded Anamorph from. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

These Terms are provided in English. If we publish a translation, the English version controls in case of conflict, except where local law requires otherwise.

1. What Anamorph is

Anamorph is a photo-first food journal. It helps you photograph a plate or a nutrition table for an editable macro estimate, log macros manually, and keep a private day history. You can also save your own recipes (a photo plus macros) and optionally answer a Daily load questionnaire — a self-report of how the day felt, not a lab test. The app calls this “Daily load”, not a medical or hormone measurement.

Important: Anamorph is not a medical device and does not provide medical, diagnostic, dietary, or clinical advice. Meal estimates from a plate or nutrition-table photo are informational tools for logging — not health diagnoses or guaranteed measurements. If you have a medical or nutrition concern, consult a qualified professional.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Anamorph. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the app with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

3. Your account

Anamorph requires an account. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and contact us if you suspect unauthorized use. You may sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple where available. Cloud sync works according to our Privacy Policy.

4. Photos, logs & content you provide

You retain ownership of the photos, meal entries, day logs, and notes you upload. You grant us a limited license to store and process them solely to operate Anamorph for you (including sync and photo estimates you request).
Only upload content you have the right to share. Do not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
Meal photos and food logs can be personal. Keep your device secure and use strong authentication options.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it, or access it in unauthorized ways.
Do not reverse engineer or abuse photo-estimate features beyond normal personal use.
Do not use the app for any unlawful purpose.

6. Automated estimates

Some meal estimates are generated with automated analysis (for example Google Gemini) from a plate or nutrition-table photo you submit and limited profile context you saved. Results can be imperfect. Treat them as logging aids you can edit — not absolute measurements or medical conclusions. Daily photo estimates may be limited; manual logging remains available.

7. Subscriptions & purchases

If paid features are offered, they are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Billing, renewals, and refunds follow the store’s rules. We do not store your full payment card details. Your use of paid features is also subject to Apple’s or Google’s applicable terms and the store’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), where relevant.

8. Intellectual property

Anamorph branding, UI, and software are owned by Marek Kači / Anamorph. You may not copy or redistribute the app except as allowed by the platform terms.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including reliance on photo estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Slovak or EU consumer law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Anamorph and delete your account at any time (see Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for other users or the service.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live in the EU / EEA. Courts in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
